You Tube Insight: Google Release YouTube Analytics
Google Analytics Lite: It’s effectively a way to see how popular your video is over time joint with a global map that shows where it’s popular. YouTube Insight is a let’s users to analysis “detailed statistics” of the videos that you uploaded. You can distinguish statistics like the number of views per day, and break it down by regions.
Stats include how frequently videos are viewed in different geographic regions and how popular they are virtual to all videos in that market over a given period of time. The lifecycle of videos is tracked, including how extended it takes for a video to become popular, and what happens to video views as popularity peaks.
To access the statistics, users click on the “About this Video” button under My account > Videos, Favorites, Playlists > Manage my Videos.
The funny thing about it though, is that you doubt why there have never been stats available up to now. I’m definite that video uploaders won’t know how they ever lived without them now.
