How to Add Google Maps One Location to Your Website Very Quickly and Easily

Google Maps is very helpful tool which allow us to locate any places worldwide, get direction to any place, find local information on any place and many more. Google map is free service provided by Google. You can easily add it to your website if your website is free to access. So let’s know how to add it to your own website easily and quickly, following are the step by step process of adding Google map to own website:

How to Plot One Location:


Open maps.google.com and search for a location you want to publish on your website.

Click on the map type you want to publish on your website. You may choose maps, satellite, earth etc.

If you want to highlight a specific place or your business then you need to click on the specific location. Like if you want to highlight Janakpuri East Metro Station then you need to click on the Janakpuri East Metro Station place.

You may use street view to see the street level images available on the map for the address. You need to drag the Pegman to the specific location/address to see the street level images.

After your place/address/location selection completed,  find the “Link” option at the top right corner of Google Maps. Click on the “Link”, there you will find two HTML code options:


  1. Paste link in email or IM
  2. Paste HTML to embed in website

You need to choose the 2nd option “Paste HTML to embed in website”.

If you like then you can customize the “Paste HTML to embed in website” code by editing the width and height and preview them too by clicking the “Customize and Preview Embedded Map” Link as per your requirement.

Now Copy and paste the code to your website HTML code where you want to publish. Now you can view the map at the exact location where you paste the html code.
